Adult Professional Development
One of the professional developments I attended during my 2nd year of teaching was math-based review for our end of year standardized test. I took what I learned to create this presentation for all of the testing grades at my school. My grade level has used the activity mentioned in the slides for 3 years now, very successfully.
Data Tracker
Just a short data tracking document used to monitor student progress. My administration liked things on paper, but used plenty of spreadsheets to track as well.

Novel Study Teacher-Created Assessment - click to view
After reading "The Hundred Dresses" at the beginning of the year, students completed a comprehension exam featuring several different types of questions, and scaffolds to support learning.
Socratic Seminar (3rd Grade) - click to view
After finishing the historical fiction novel "Riding Freedom," I created a scaffolded Socratic Seminar experience for students to take further ownership of their learning.
