So What? Jenna Who?
Why Should We Hire You?
Although new to the corporate world, I have many transferable skills that I'm excited to better hone. I am confident that if I can handle 20 eight-year-olds calling my name all day long, I can handle the multitasking and organization necessary to be successful in a stakeholder facing role.
What Do You Bring To the Table?
Well, many things, but first and foremost, a GROWTH MINDSET! It is impossible to get anywhere in life, professionally or personally, without the willingness to grow, change, and eventually become better at who you are or what you do in the face of challenges. I have the interpersonal skills necessary to make a loyal, dedicated, and supportive colleague. I know that with some patience and practicing of my growth mindset, I can master the technical skills necessary to meet set metrics and KPIs. I am driven and don't step back when things become difficult. It's important to me to hold high expectations of myself and allow others to do the same of me.
What are 5 Words that Describe You?
Everyone's favorite question!
-Creative: Not in the traditional sense, moreso that I like to think outside the box when problem-solving
-Trustworthy: I've got your back! Whether it's helping you clean up after accidentally spilling coffee everywhere, or bragging on my company's strengths in front of a crowd. I'm your person!
-Organized: Hopefully self-explanatory, but let's remember a key in any sort of project management (whether it be avoiding scope creep or getting 20 kids settled with their lunches), takes time, patience, and a willingness to prioritize when necessary.
-Determined: As I mentioned, I don't give up without a fight. The Taurus in me can be stubborn! That being said, I'm proud of the ways I've worked to choose my battles recently.
-Adaptable: One of the reasons I loved the classroom was because I could be goofy all day long. However, the instant a district administrator was through the door, it was professionalism to a T. I'm great at reading the room and ensuring my words and actions are productive to the conversations at hand.
